Wirral History and Heritage Fair
10th March 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeRelatively Seeking UK’s first public event, we have posted a few photos taken at the annual Wirral History and Heritage Fair held at the Birkenhead Town Hall on the 10th March 2018.
Here is our display stand just before the start of the event, we tried to show all of the different categories of genealogy and family history research we cover and can offer to our clients. This was the only opportunity we got to take a photo of the stand as it was packed full of enquiring clients for the next 7 hours.
Fortunately we each got a few minutes of a break, which allowed each of us to have a very quick look around some of the other stands and stalls as well as to take in some of the stunning architecture of the old town hall, unfortunately, we were so busy the rest of the show we only got a very short break to look around the Birkenhead Town Hall and other stands.
There were over 60 groups and societies participating in the event and despite the inclement weather outside a great time was had by all who attended the event.
It was a great learning experience and we now know that at our next event we will have an even better stand with lots more members of our team in attendance to allow each of us the occasional short breaks to explore and enjoy the rest of the event.
We were told by the organisers that this years event was the best attended so far, which just goes to show the ever-growing of people who are interested in finding out more about their families history and genealogy.
