Relatively Seeking UK, March 2019 Blog Post

Wirral History and Heritage Association Fair 2019

What a great day was had by all those who attended this years WHHA Fair at the Birkenhead Town Hall.

Relatively Seeking UK were one of the almost 70 exhibitors, stalls and local friends groups attending this years WHHA fair. It was undoubtedly the best-attended show so far with almost 1500 visitors attending.

There was a wide array of local societies, with vast amounts of information and documentation about their local area of interest.

There were also many stands selling new and used books, postcards and other assorted memorabilia. This ranged from local history to information on the history of the wars and so much more.

A very busy day was had by all !!!

This year we had 4 members of the Relatively Seeking UK team on hand. We thought we would have had a little time for each of us to take a couple of breaks and explore the rest of the show. However, as in previous shows, we were worked off our feet from the moment the show opened until almost 30 minutes after it officially closed.

We had a great display showing the different categories of things we can help people out during their research. From our Genealogy research service. Charts and Printing Services. Photo Restoration and Digital Imaging Services Location Photography and Video Production Services. Our specialist in Heraldry and Family Crest Research and Design. Together with information about our Tailor Made Family History Tours. Here we take people around the localities and areas their ancestors once lived and worked.

We were also pleased to show and sell some of the wide range of, Folders, Binders, Acid Free Sleeves and Pockets, Various Styles and Types of Charts and many other accessories to help you with your research and organisation.

Since the WHHA Fair our team have been worked off their feet. They have been busy updating and researching numerous new family research projects for both new and existing clients.

We have had dozens of wonderful old photographs in various states of distress submitted for different levels of restoration. They ranged from a basic tidy up and enlargement to total rebuilds and restoration projects.

With our recently upgraded computers and the latest photo editing software packages we are able to do some amazing things to bring back the almost lost images of peoples ancestors and loved ones.
